About

Welcome To My Kitchen!!!

My name is Tracey, I was born in England to Irish parents and have been living in Ireland for well over 20 years now. I’m married to himself and have 3 amazing (and crazy) kids: for the purposes of the blog lets call them #1 (the teen), #2 (the 8 year old) and #3 (the baby – he’s 1).

I love to cook and bake for my family and can usually be found in the kitchen (hence the name of the blog) unless I’m in the garden as after 5 years of badgering himself, we recently acquired 5 hens who will more than likely feature here quite often.

This blog has been running since September 2010 although I have recently returned from an almost 18 month break. Going through the pictures on the “good” camera, I found loads of food photos that I hadn’t got round to using and it inspired me to turn the laptop back on and get back to it. I’m currently trying to tidy it up and tie up loose ends. This blog is still very much a work in progress but I’m enjoying being back in the saddle and loving everything about it.

So follow me on a journey if you will, as I learn more about food and cooking, sharing my views and experiences along the way.

I’m open to reviewing products/books, if you feel you have something I or my readers might like, please drop me a line here.
